TCS secures an expanded five-year contract with Weatherford, focusing on AI-driven solutions to transform operations across finance and supply chain domains.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), renowned for its IT services and business solutions, announces a five-year contract renewal with Weatherford International, a notable oilfield service provider based in North America. This extended collaboration emphasises the use of advanced technologies to drive efficiency across pivotal operational sectors.

The renewed agreement centres on enhancing operational efficiencies within finance, supply chains, and human resources. TCS aims to transform Weatherford's finance processes using cutting-edge AI solutions, reducing costs and scaling operations. Their advisory capabilities will also assist Weatherford in streamlining workflows and fostering innovative strategies to enhance agility and financial resilience.

Having partnered for over seven years, TCS has significantly contributed to Weatherford's operations. This collaboration has already achieved a nearly 50% reduction in the total cost of ownership in crucial areas, underscoring the impact of their partnership.

Moving forward, TCS plans to extend its role, offering strategic advisory services aligned with Weatherford's digital transformation endeavours. By deploying tailored solutions and advanced technologies, TCS will help Weatherford optimise resource utilisation and adapt to changing market conditions.
