SAP SE recently announced the appointment of Augusta Spinelli as Regional President for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Effective immediately, Spinelli will spearhead SAP's operations across 89 countries, excluding the 26 countries of SAP Middle & Eastern Europe (MEE), which include Germany, Switzerland, and Central and Eastern Europe.

Spinelli's new role places her at the forefront of SAP's strategies in the EMEA region, a crucial market for the company's global expansion plans. Her responsibilities include fostering business growth and embracing innovation alongside SAP's robust product engineering and partner ecosystem.

With over 30 years of experience, Spinelli is poised to leverage her extensive industry knowledge to help customers accelerate their digital transformation. Her journey at SAP began in 2001 as a production planning consultant, and she has since held various leadership positions, showcasing her expertise across sales and delivery.

Additionally, Spinelli holds a master's degree in Industrial Technology and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and is based in Dubai, UAE. She expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, highlighting her commitment to driving SAP's AI-first, Suite-first strategy in alignment with the company's culture of high performance and mutual trust.
