StorMagic has announced an EMEA-wide distribution agreement with QBS Technology Group, a European software distributor. This collaboration aims to expand customer access to StorMagic’s suite of products across the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, and South Africa.

Having initially partnered in 2015 through Prianto, now under the QBS Technology Group umbrella, this new agreement demonstrates their evolving partnership. QBS becomes an official member of StorMagic’s Global Partner Program, emphasising its supportive role in delivering StorMagic's edge computing and data management solutions to organisations across the region.

The partnership aims to provide customers with enhanced access to StorMagic’s solutions, including SvSAN and SvHCI. This will support simplified procurement and deployment processes for on-site and edge IT environments.

Ikramul Khaled, group head of vendor alliances at QBS Technology Group, expressed enthusiasm, "Working with StorMagic allows us to offer easy-to-use solutions that address the growing challenges of managing data and infrastructure at the edge."

This partnership aims to provide end users with:

  • Streamlined Procurement: Customers benefit from a single distribution partner, reducing administrative burdens and the need for multiple vendor relationships.
  • Broader Access: Leveraging QBS Software’s reseller base across EMEA, customers gain access to a wider range of leading resellers and system integrators.
  • Enhanced Financial Flexibility: QBS Software’s scale presents more competitive pricing options, flexible models, and easy financing access through authorised resellers.

Susan Odle, CEO of StorMagic, highlighted the agreement's importance, noting that it aligns with their mission to deliver simple, reliable, and cost-effective virtualisation solutions, especially for larger enterprise customers and distributed environments.
