Flare, a provider of Threat Exposure Management solutions, has recorded a 114% year-over-year growth in managed security service provider (MSSP) uptake. This increase in adoption reflects growing demand among service providers for operationally efficient and scalable threat intelligence for modern security service delivery.

MSSPs face pressure to enhance threat visibility and deliver timely intelligence across varied customer settings without increasing analyst workload or operational complexity. Conventional threat intelligence platforms can be difficult to scale, requiring providers to balance service quality, operational costs, and licensing considerations.

Flare’s platform allows MSSPs to embed external threat data across customer environments. This reduces operational overhead while expanding service offerings. With coverage across the dark web, cybercrime forums, messaging platforms, and other open sources, Flare enables MSSPs to integrate intelligence-driven services without managing multiple tools or complex licensing. This unified approach allows MSSPs to simplify toolsets and apply intelligence consistently across customers and engagements.

Andrew Bartlam, VP of Global Channels and EMEA Sales at Flare, commented on the company's progress, noting the role of threat intelligence integration in supporting security service delivery.

To address operational requirements, Flare offers models designed for scalability and flexibility. In addition to fully managed services, Flare provides a dedicated package for services-led firms, including those specialising in penetration testing, red teaming, and time-bound consulting projects. This approach enables MSSPs to align intelligence capabilities with their revenue models. Many MSSPs cite Flare's identity data set and interface as reasons for selecting it as a managed services platform.

MSSPs are a segment of Flare’s broader partner network, which also includes Distributors, Value Added Resellers (VARs), consulting firms, and global systems integrators. Flare supports partners in scaling services, differentiating offerings, and meeting evolving customer needs through collaborative growth initiatives.
