Motive introduces AI analytics within its dashboard platform

Motive launches an integrated AI analytics platform designed to transform decision-making and enhance fleet efficiency for UK operations.

Motive, an AI platform focused on physical operations, has introduced Motive Analytics. The AI-driven solution is embedded within the Motive Dashboard and is designed to support data management across areas including safety, fuel, maintenance and telematics.

The aim of Motive Analytics is to automate reporting and centralise operational data. This reduces reliance on manual data entry and spreadsheet-based analysis. The platform provides users with real-time insights to identify areas requiring attention, track trends and support decision-making intended to improve safety, productivity and cost efficiency.

The solution also includes AI Answers, a conversational AI feature designed for physical operations. It allows users to ask questions in natural language, such as “Which drivers had the most idling time last week?” and returns responses along with visualisations based on operational data.

Safety, operations and finance teams in the UK often work with disconnected legacy systems that do not provide real-time data synchronisation. As a result, insights can become outdated by the time they are produced, and information is often spread across multiple spreadsheets. Motive Analytics is designed to address this by providing an integrated analytics experience that does not require coding.

Motive Analytics supports UK teams in the following ways:

  • Instant issue and opportunity identification: Enables users to create and customise dashboards using AI, providing visibility into fleet performance without relying on spreadsheets.
  • Real-time insights with AI Answers: Allows users to ask questions in natural language and receive insights from operational data across areas such as safety and maintenance.
  • Faster problem-solving: Supports analysis of vehicle, driver or route data to identify root causes and inform actions aimed at improving safety and efficiency.
  • Accelerated decision-making: Enables users to generate reports independently without relying on data analytics teams.
  • Financial impact visibility: Links operational data to financial outcomes through reporting intended to highlight cost savings and risk reduction.
  • Unified view of operations and safety: Allows dashboards to be scheduled, exported and shared across teams to support collaboration and reduce duplicate reporting.

Motive Analytics is positioned as a tool to support the transition from data collection to more structured operational decision-making.
