Verne, a provider of low-carbon, high-performance data centres in Northern Europe, has introduced a revitalised brand. This shift signifies a focus on designing and implementing infrastructure tailored for artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing.

The rebranding initiative aligns Verne's identity and digital strategies with the size of its business and the requirements of the markets it currently serves. Supported by Ardian since 2024, the company is poised to address the computing needs of advanced workloads worldwide.

Cheil, with assistance from agencies Maven, The PR Network, and Bespoke, led the rebranding project across branding, communications, and digital strategy sectors. The updated aesthetic adopts Nordic design influences, focusing on mineral textures, muted colours, and precise architecture, moving away from more traditional environmental imagery.

The transformation from 'Verne Global' to simply 'Verne' reflects the company's international scope. Additionally, the shift to the streamlined web domain verne.co complements this modernised brand identity. This new approach helps demonstrate Verne's dual focus: leveraging natural environmental advantages while maintaining technological precision in delivering scalable, high-density infrastructure. This repositioning emphasises the people, skills, and expertise driving the company's operations.

Developed in collaboration with regional teams and leadership, the refreshed brand aims to enhance engagement with local communities by clearly outlining Verne's role in providing digital services and contributing responsibly to the regions it operates.

Though shared internally, the brand's initial public debut is anticipated at the Cannes Datacloud 2026 conference.
