A total of 1,650 security leaders participated in the global survey, with many reporting that cybersecurity has become easier to manage compared to past years. However, cybersecurity defenders now find themselves in a race against adversaries to harness generative AI (Gen AI).

In an ORX survey of 26 of the world’s biggest banks and insurers, three quarters (75%) of firms said that they have started using external GenAI tools in operations, with the most popular being Microsoft Copilot.
