Global consultancy K3 Hosting has boosted its Managed Services offering by becoming a Webroot channel partner. The collaboration further strengthens K3 Hosting’s offering of cloud and managed services to companies globally.

K3 Hosting has always offered high data protection levels for its cloud customers with business critical information stored in its secure international datacentres, and the company is now able to offer similar levels of protection for its customers’ physical desktop and mobile devices. Its Managed Service provision now includes Weboot security products, such as User, Endpoint, Mobile and Web Security , creating a unique place in the market for K3 Hosting as a full cloud and Managed Service consultancy.

Stuart Buckley, Head of Channel and Alliances at K3 Hosting explained: “At K3 Hosting we bridge the gap between cloud and on premise security by combining both services with the same levels of protection. Webroot is the market leader in real-time internet threat detection for enterprises and because it is a cloud-based software, it complements our existing cloud strategy.”
This new partnership comes at a time when Webroot has grown its global channel base from 400 to 1,600 partners over the last 12 months and signalled its commitment to supporting the enterprise market. K3 Hosting itself has been quick to establish itself in the marketplace since launching last year following a restructuring of the old K3 Managed Services business. The consultancy, which is a part of K3 Business Technology Group, has already forged a host of similar channel partnerships to bolster its telecoms and wireless services and has an ambitious channel strategy, which it will look to unravel over the next 12 months.

“Collaboration in the IT sector is as important now and in the future as it has ever been before,” said Stuart Buckley. “Businesses are increasingly looking for complete solutions rather than individual products or services and this is why we have built up a strategic channel partnership over the last 12 months and we plan on developing this even further.
“Our channel partnership with Webroot enables us to offer a complete cloud and Managed Service package and provide our customers with the same cloud protection for their physical computers as we do for their ERP,MRP, CRM and business critical data in our own secure K3 cloud network. This, together with our other strong channel relationships, has helped us fill a unique gap in the market for all round total enterprise protection.”
