Forfront’s Technical Director, Richard Beacroft, commented: “We are proud of the quality and reliability of the service that we offer our customers. The performance enhancements will help us extend this even further. The team have done sterling work to ensure that the transition has been as smooth as possible, and we were delighted that downtime was minimal.”
The infrastructure was moved to Volta Data Centres, the fastest growing edge data centre in the UK. The company’s Central London location, high-density infrastructure and 100% uptime record was a major factor in the migration process, providing diverse, flexible and cost-efficient connectivity solutions.
Forfront Managing Director, Ron Kellermann, commented: “As a SaaS solution provider, we always invest in improvements to our infrastructure by increasing speed, security and redundancy. I am delighted that this month we have been able to offer our customers’ significant enhancement with our move to a new UK-based data centre. Clients will benefit from up to 10 times faster bandwidth, increased redundancy and improved speed to deployment of online services.”
Jonathan Arnold, Managing Director at Volta Data Centres, said: “Finding the right data centre is a critical decision, especially for those companies like Forfront that require superfast, uninterrupted data connections and a reliable power supply. Data is at the heart of everything Forfront does, so this was the perfect opportunity to show how a low latency, high performance edge data centre can help provide the service Forfront and its customers need.”
The move is part of a programme of substantial developments underway to enhance the e-shot™ platform, alongside some exciting new product developments anticipated to launch in early 2019.
