Bringing simplicity and high performance to all businesses

OVHcloud is extending its virtual private server (VPS) range, designed specifically for DevOps teams and small businesses. This wider and more scalable range is better suited to the requirements of businesses.

The VPS market was estimated to be worth $1.1 billion in 2018 and is expected to exceed $2.5 billion by 2025.[1] This growth is largely due to an increase in the number of e-commerce websites, which require flexibility to meet one-off or seasonal peaks in demand. Providing both the freedom of administration of bare metal servers and the flexibility offered by virtualisation, virtual private servers also meet the needs of businesses in terms of infrastructure monitoring, testing in pre-production environments, and website hosting.

Attractive performance/price ratio

Easy to set up and manage with just a few clicks, the new OVHcloud VPS range provides great flexibility and boasts up to 50% higher performance than the previous suite.

Thanks to having complete control of its value chain, OVHcloud has been able to create this new range of virtual private servers by combining performance and accessibility with maximum readability. The new range comprises five products, from Starter to Elite, all priced transparently and affordably - £3 to £88 excl. VAT per month - for controlled costs. The new VPS range is available in the OVHcloud UK data centre as well as across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America. It includes unlimited traffic with a maximum bandwidth of up to 2 Gbps[2].

The customisable Elite VPS product also offers large vCPU, RAM and storage capacities. And, to help their infrastructure keep pace with their operations, customers can now monitor their resource usage and change the VPS product they are using as needed, in a few clicks.

Multiple built-in services

Whether for developing personal projects or implementing virtual instances in a multi-cloud environment, the VPS range provides all the benefits that are unique to OVHcloud solutions, including built-in anti-DDoS protection, choice of data residency, as well as fully guaranteed customer code reversibility and interoperability. In addition, available options include extra disks, snapshots, IP fail-over and automated backup, all with transparent and predictable pricing.
