Centiel celebrates major double Award win

Leading uninterruptable power supplies (UPS) manufacturer, CENTIEL, is celebrating a major double award win.

Firstly, Centiel was named as winner for the Intelligent Data Centre Project of the Year at the DCR Excellence Awards for its project working with Sure’s Tier III data centres on Guernsey. A few days later, Centiel was also crowned with the Outstanding Contribution to Sustainability and Efficiency Award at the DCS awards, recognizing the development of its sustainable UPS StratusPowerTM which is now helping data centres achieve net-zero targets across the world.

The DCR Excellence awards ceremony took place on 16 May 2024 in Spitalfields, Lonon and highlighted the importance of innovation and sustainability, reflecting the industry’s ongoing commitment to improving energy efficiency, environmental standards, and technological advancements. The DCS Awards which recognise achievements and technology innovation were awarded at a black tie event held on 23 May 2024 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in St Paul’s London.

Louis McGarry, Sales & Marketing Director, Centiel explains: “Wow what a week! These prestigious awards highlight Centiel’s continued achievements to develop leading UPS solutions in addition to our work acting as trusted advisors to help data centres maximise efficiency, uptime and adopt a best practice approach to sustainability, while reducing total cost of ownership at the same time.

Centiel is all about quality, innovation and efficiency. We are now incredibly proud that our whole team’s collective efforts and our long-term vision of working towards a more sustainable future have been acknowledged in this way.”
